Constellations
05:41
|
|

The luminescent din of celestial birds
On stellar wings, the twilight canopy unfurled
The empty ocean, vastness and silence
Tranquility belies the violence
Pale lights in the darkness
Black seas of infinity
This autumn aurora, this handful of stars
One last gaze upwards before we plunge into the dark
Bearing witness to the dying of the light
Steel myself as we go forward into treacherous night
We've seen the forests burn
We've seen the oceans turn
And still we know nothing
Constellations
Pale lights in the darkness
Black seas of infinity
Pale lights in the darkness
Guide me home

Curse
04:17

Blind eyes preach of sight, they live the lie
With every waking breath they wish for death
They build these barriers, they build these barriers
They pray for your demise, a curse upon us all
Execration, malediction, anathema to us all
Raised well on contradictions, surrender of will
Cast out the unbelievers, their blood to spill
Prisoners of superstition, bitter communion
We should have know, what good is an empty throne?
Execration, malediction, imprecation, curses on you all
Icon of misery
Keep those eyes closed, your hiding something
Like endless night, son of nothing
These tired accusations fall on deaf ears
Survival based on preying on fears
Pity the world, or else this glutton be
To rid the world's due, by the grave and thee
We have wasted so many lungs of breath against the cult of death
And still they survive
Icon of misery, we are cursed
Icon of misery, son of nothing

Funereal Disease
02:10
|
|
||
Rooms hung with still life
Secrets in open air
Beauty fades away
The candles extinguish one by one
Funereal disease
Death never leaves
Daylight withdraws
Flowers wither away
Mirrors in pieces
A thorn for a rose
There have been a thousand gods in mortal eyes
And we have killed them all
So too your god will die

Can I change the mountain?
Or will the mountain change me?
Can I tame the ocean?
Or will the ocean tame me?
I gave fire
I gave flesh
I was cast out and ashamed
For the heart that beats in this Oceanid chest
Titan to whose immortal eyes
Were not as things that God's despise
Which even in torture can descry
Triumphant where it dares defy
And making death a victory
